It's A Celebration!

Hi friends and fellow crafters! Today I am sharing a very special birthday greeting with you. I created this for a crafting friend of mine who has just turned 65.

I just love my Saturated Canary Stamps by Khrista Smith. For this little altered canvas, I used my Party Hardy digi and printed her out at 4.5 inches. I colored her with my copics. I got the idea to make the altered canvas by watching this video from the Saturated Canary Channel. It is awesome! Once I had my image colored, I started my canvas. I used DCWV Celebration Papers and Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Papers on the background. I covered them with Ranger Acrylic Paint. I cut clouds and Happy Birthday using my Cricut. I doodled around the clouds and added some color to them with paint.  I added some rub-ons from Pink Paislee, a little lady bug stamp and I stamped around the canvas with a little stamp I received as a blog candy prize from Damaris from At Studio D blog. I love her blog. She is quite talented.

The cute little hearts are from Heidi Swapp. I sprayed them with Mr, Huey orange and yellow sprays.

I stamped a little lady bug and colored her with copics. Then I used glossy accents and some stickles on the her. The lady bug is there because that is her nickname. I found assorted bling in my stash and added them to the canvas.

I used glossy accents on her eyes, tongue, the cupcake, and the banners.

She made it safely to her destination and my friend loves her. I want to enter her into the Saturated Canary Challenge #47, Celebrations.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Happy Crafting!
Colleen
