I Finished My December Daily!

Happy New Year Everyone! This is the year that I finish projects I have started. You know that tee shirt that says "Queen of the unfinished projects"? Well, that is me. My New Year's resolution is manage my time better. I find that since my Mom's passing, I am not as disciplined with my time as I used to be. I am focusing on changing that. That is my One Little Word for this year.

"FOCUS"

I am so proud of myself because I made sure to finish my December Daily this year. My 1st attempt at it last year was a dismal failure. I made it to day 5 was out. I have kept those pages as a reminder that I can and will finish the projects I have laying around. I may even try to finish THAT project during the year. It's not just my crafts where I need to focus more, it is in my daily life too. I hope to correct this lack of focus that I have had recently and make sure to enjoy 2014.  I plan to FOCUS on it! Here are my pages for my December Daily. This is a picture heavy post. I used the DD daily kit from October Afternoon and lots of papers and embellies from my stash.

Why do the pets always have to try to get in the pictures around here?

I really like this shaker. I added some tiny wooden trees to it.

Woo Hoo! A wedding is coming to our family! They are the perfect couple! I actually cut something with the Silhouette! The silhouette of Santa getting a kiss was perfect for this page.

My Secret Stocking Stuffer friend from the Circle swap really spoiled me. I included pictures from the opening day festivities and even used some of the goodies JodieR sent me on the pages!

I received some cute flair pins in the mail from my crafty friend and her daughter. I made sure to use them on this page and included the cute postcard from them. Flair pins and enamel dots are my newest obsession.

For this page, I cut a page protector in half and inserted a page I created to make a pocket page. I sewed the protector to the page and covered the sewing with ribbon.

I was able to insert the book with Christmas Carols and some other pictures of items I found in my Great Grandmother's sewing machine. I found some incredible pictures of my Dad, my Aunt Dot and my Uncles Frank and Allie from 1940 in an envelope! What a gift!

On the next page, I inserted Dan's picture that Santa sent to him and some journaling along with a sweet picture of Kaylee.

I need to add a couple pictures of my Father In Law to this page. We were having so much fun on Christmas Eve that I forgot to take pictures. I know, I should be ashamed of myself. LOL! My Father In Law promised to send a couple of pictures soon.

I stopped at December 25th, but added the Happy New Year to the back page.

Thank you all so much for visiting my blog through the year! I am looking forward to fun and crafty new year!

Happy Crafting!
Colleen
