More from my mess

Here's another Mess On My Desk Challenge. I have a ton of leftover Graduation Caps that I saved from my nephew's graduation party. All the cuts are from my Cricut or Imagine. Even the paper was on my desk. I had to dig around in a few containers on my desk for skittles, but I found some!

This will come in handy in June when my son is graduating from his school program. I think there are 3 other guys from his class graduating too. I have a head start now on their cards!

The Mess On Your Desk Challenge

Here I am again! This is the perfect challenge for me. I am going to share something really scary with you all. My craft table! LOL!

What a disaster! I'm just glad this isn't called the mess on the floor! You wouldn't want to see that right now! So here's a tag I made. I took this challenge seriously and didn't even break out my distress inks to color my tag. I used the inks on the sponge and spritzed it with water, then used the heat gun to dry the tag.

I just may try another project before this challenge ends! I certainly have enough stuff on my table!
Thanks for looking!

Cricut Circle Blog 2 Hour Timed Sketch Challenge

Hi again! Guess who? I'm back with another 2 hour challenge. Here is my take on the sketch. It's a picture from about 9 years ago of my son and DH on Christmas. My son loved his race track! The papers are all K&Co. The Vroom is from Cricut Lite Cupcake Wrappers and the Cars are from Boys Will Be Boys. The silver accent and red star are from my Cricut spare cuts stash. I have decided that timed challenges are not my forte. LOL! It came out ok, but I would much rather have more time to fiddle with my layouts.

Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Cricut Circle NSD Crop: Art Inspiration Challenge

NSD CROP: Art Inspiration Challenge!

ART INSPIRATION PIECE

Hi Friends and Fellow Crafters. I hope everyone is having a super National Scrapbooking Day! It's a busy Saturday here. The contests at the Circle Board, the Kentucky Derby later, it's Cinco De Mayo, and let's not forget about the Rangers in the playoffs, so much fun! The Cricut Circle Blog has been hosting a 2 day online crop event that has been jam packed with challenges, contests, videos and even a chat with the DT. It's keeping me busy and inspired.

I was really excited yesterday to see this wonderful Art Inspiration contest. It gave me a chance to finally use my Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge. I think since I've owned it, I have only used it once. After I put together my card, I realized I need to pull this cart out more. The soft colors and images are fabulous! The entire card was created using the cartridge, except for the 3 butterflies. They were leftovers from my birdcage project. The ledger paper is from the Tim Holtz Crowded Attic Collection and all the other papers are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Clothesline Collection. All are from my stash. I dressed up the cuts with some Stickles and Martha Stewart Coarse Glitter. The little rhinestones are from Whiff Of Joy.

I just love Hummingbirds, don't you? I added a little rhinestone for his eye. I layered the flower and added some Stickles for shimmer.

The inside is very simple. I used some Martha Stewart Coarse Glitter on the flower and raised it up with a pop dot.

My DH really liked this card and wants it for his Mom's Mother's Day card. I wanted to add some Mother sayings inside or the word Mom on the front, but he wants it just as it is.  Sure, why not? but he had better write something really nice on the inside! :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Letter Envy Contest

Hi Friends and Fellow Crafters!
Over at the Cricut Circle Blog today and tomorrow they are celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with fun games and contests. This was a timed contest using Letter Envy, our most recent Circle Cartridge. I wasn't having the best luck doing a timed entry, but I did a layout about my guys. The picture is terrible because I used my cell phone. My camera was MIA, DH is looking for it now. LOL! The letters, arrows, stars and journaling pocket are all from Letter Envy. The stickers are from Close To My Heart. They were in my stash, so I grabbed them real quick to add a little more accents to my page. The papers are all from Tim Holtz.
Edited to say we found the camera and I had to fix my page!

Not too sure what happened with my letters, but I made the cutoff!
