Poor Puppies

Hello To All!

This week at our Scrapping Through The Snow Challenge, we have been ordered to take a "Time Out" by Sara, our hostess of the thread. I know what you are thinking, it's a shopping spree break. No, it's not that at all. We are to make something for ourselves that we have wanted to do. I have't made a layout for myself in quite a long time, so I took a time out in my craft room and came up with my 1st puppy layout. I kept it very simple. The papers are from my stash, it is the Neon Chic Stack from DCWV. The font and little monsters are all from Cricut and cut with my Explore.

We noticed that Astro had a hair missing around his eyes when he first came home, then we noticed what appeared to be a stripe on his head. Well after a few days, we saw that Dino was also losing hair. A visit to the vet confirmed what I suspected. Mange!

They will need treatments every two weeks to get rid of it.  So I guess there will be another layout somewhere along the way where they look even worse! Is that even possible? Poor puppies!

More Stashing Through The Snow Projects

 Hello from snowy NJ!
I have a few projects that are made completely from my stash to share with you today!

I used the updated Design Space and my Explore to create this Birthday card for a very special little boy. His name is Chazz and he has Aspergers Syndrome and the members of Cricut Lovers Guide To Design Space FB group had a post about making some cards for him. I like the new Design Space set up, it was easy to use and I love the bigger thumbnails for the images.

I am also getting back around to finishing Kaylee's monthly pictures for her scrapbook. I fell way behind last year when we started planning her birthday party. All the embellishments on the layout were sitting in a box on my table. It felt really good to use finally use them!

And last, but not least is a Valentine for my honey. There is a story behind the I love turtles sentiment. My son loves when Pete yells "I Love Turtles!" and throws his arms up in the air. It just cracks him up. The inside of the card says, And I Love You. I truly do, he is a great husband and dad. I am very lucky to have him in my life.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Valentines For My Cuties

I am still stashing through the snow! I created a couple of cute Valentines for my Great Nephew and Great Niece. Everything was from my stash.

My Great Niece is really into cats, so I used a cute file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. The heart is from Close To My Heart, Art Philosophy. The polka dot paper is from a Recollections Valentine Stack from last year. I put a ribbon handle on it for her and put a Gerber's Diced Apple bowl and a Little Debbie's Valentine Heart cupcake inside. I figured my Niece can always keep the cupcakes if she doesn't want Kaylee to have them. LOL! I added another scalloped oval on the back for a message to her from me.

This adorable card for CJ is from Mini Monsters. The heart word bubble is from the Cricut Craft Room Exclusive Word Bubbles.

I still need to create a couple more Valentines for my sweet hubby and son.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stashing Through The Snow

It seems like forever since I've posted. The holidays have come and gone, it's a brand new year, and it's time to get back to crafting.

My Cricut Circle crafting friend, Sara, has challenged us to use our stash. I always love these challenges. They are so motivating and it helps to clear out a tiny bit of my over flowing stash of paper crafting products.

Today I am sharing an easel album kit that was sitting in my stash since at least 2008. It is from K & Company. I used everything from the kit and only added some extra rub on transfers from Maggie Holmes to it. Naturally, I used pictures of my favorite little model, Kaylee in it.

I am so happy that I finally put this kit to good use. Now if I could only make a dent in all the paper that I own.

Thanks for stopping by today.
